A professional gambler relies upon gambling as their primary source of income. They are very much in control, they make carefully executed bets and they never deviate from a betting strategy.

Pathological Gambler

Pathological Gamblers don’t have a problem, they have a serious illness, and require expert counseling and help. A pathological gambler will sometimes resort to any means to fuel their gambling addiction. To a pathological gambler, gambling is seen as more important that the necessities of day to day living.
