Underlay

A bad or unfavourable bet in which the bettor bets more than what the outcome of the event could possible be won. Usually a fish or amateur player will underlay.

Unit

Also known as betting units. A casino term that expresses the smallest amount of money that is used to wager without specifying the monetary amount. One betting unit is one chip, irrespective of whether they are $1, $5, $10 or higher chips
