Hardway

When a dice shows double numbers such as a 2/2 or 4/4.

Hardway bet

A wager that predicts a 4, 6, 8 or a 10 will show up as a pair before a 7 is to be rolled.

Hawking the dice

Where the stickman recalls a dice after the roll.

Hook

Players who are positioned near the corners of the craps table.

Hope bet

A one roll bet on any given dice combination.

Hoping hardway

Always a 2-2 hope bet.

Horn bet

One roll wager that is a combination of the 2, 3, 11 and 12.

Horn high bet

Wagers that are split into five parts. For example, two units on the high 12 and three units for 2, 3 and 11.

Hot dice

A shooter who is rolling many numbers and achieving their points.

Hot roll

A term to describe a player who has played a long time at the table without hitting the 7.

Hot table

A description for a table where players are winning often.

House Edge

A specific advantage that a casino has over a player on any specific bet
